Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Travel Update:

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Travel Update as of March 30, 2020. All Elysian Maldives stays, trips or tours offered have been suspended until April 30, 2020.

As a result of the rapidly evolving Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, strict measures taken from the government of the Maldives and based on travel advisory, we have reached the unfortunate decision to suspend all stays, trips or tours offered by Elysian Maldives until April 30, 2020.

However, we will continue to monitor the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic situation and update via our Facebook page with the information as we get it from our Government Authorities such as Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health. We know you might have more questions; we have some FAQs below that we hope will help.

Updated Cancellation Policy

The current worldwide travel restriction updates, border closures and quarantine requirements are not what anyone could call normal circumstances. Due to these exceptional circumstances and the abnormal impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide, we have updated our cancellation policy as follows:

For customers who are booked to stay between now and April 30, 2020

As a result of the rapidly evolving Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and strict government travel advice, we reached the unfortunate decision to suspend all stays, trips or tours offered by Elysian Maldives until April 30, 2020. 

For those booked on one of our suspended stays, trips or tours, you’ll get the full amount refunded. 

For customers who are booked to stay from May 1, 2020

At present, all of Elysian Maldives stays, trips or tours scheduled from May 1 2020 are due to happen as planned pending any updated Government travel restrictions. If you choose to cancel your stay, trips or tours happening from May 1 2020, please keep in mind then the below will apply: 

If you have paid more than a deposit – you’ll get the full amount refunded in the form of a travel credit voucher, This is redeemable for stay by September 30, 2021.

If you have paid only the deposit – you’ll get the full amount refunded in the form of a travel credit voucher. This is redeemable for stay by September 30, 2021.

Please note, this applies to Elysian Maldives bookings only. Airlines and other travel/activity providers may impose different change and cancelation policies. Once the situation is back to normal, our regular terms and conditions will apply. Hence, the above is only applicable during the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic crisis.
