Tigerair has started flights to Maldives as the only no-frills airline providing direct flights from Singapore. The inaugural flight arrived on Friday and the airline will operate four weekly flights between Singapore and Maldives.
To celebrate the launch of the new Singapore to Maldives route, Tigerair is offering a special promotional fare. This promotion is valid for travel between 24 January 2014 and 20 September 2014.
Tigerair, is a low-cost airline located in Singapore. It operates services to regional destinations in Southeast Asia, Australia, China and India from its main base at Singapore Changi Airport. Tigerair currently flies to 28 destinations in 10 countries around the region.
Making it the first budget carrier to offer such flights from Singapore. The only other airline currently offering direct flights from Singapore to the Maldives is Singapore Airlines.
